Every time I read the top five posts of the week, they always end up being sad.
Why?
Why do they have to be sad?
Why can’t we have a happy top 5 where there’s not a sad story that talks about depression, loneliness, death, and being abandon?
there’s so many things that we could write that’re happy and uplifting, everyone gets so sad when they read the top 5, is there a rule that states that all of the top 5 have to be sad?
why can’t we have a top 5 that makes you feel positive and good about life?
are the sad ones chosen because it hits you hard?
Because sad things aren’t the only thing that can hit you hard.
To hit someone hard with something happy you have to appeal to the child side of them.
The one who wants to stay up all night and play games, the child that wants to run around the field playing tag with their friends and eat candy all day.
Woah ❤️ my mind has been blown
Thank you for this ❤️

I noticed that, too! It’s for that reason I specifically chose to nominate a happy piece for my favourite blog post this week.
