Robots And Yes Men (March madness post)

Many people just want others to listen and do whatever they’re told to do without questioning. Some people think the perfect human is themselves so they want others to be like them. Maybe that’s why we’ve worked so hard to build human like robots, so they can have someone who’ll do whatever they say and agree with them on every subject, or why some people surround themselves with yes men. Because as humans grow we question things just like the book educated (which is a really good book by the way). Tara believed everything that she was told as a child but later she started to question things like “do I want to be a stay home mom or does my dad want me to be one?” soon she realized that she was seeing the world through her fathers eyes, and not her own, but of course the father becomes upset at her, for not seeing what he see’s so he would probably want someone who agrees with him on everything, and he sorta does. his wife agrees with him on everything and doesn’t speak up against him when he does something stupid, even though we’ve seen multiple times in the book that she doesn’t really agree with him on everything, she pretends to when he’s around. But most people aren’t like that and some people want others to be what they want them to be, and robots are perfect for that, they do what they’re told to do, and they say whatever you want them to say. They can be a mirror of anyone you want them to be. And just to be clear I don’t think people should be like me, I don’t agree with that kind of logic.
