Mission: Eve

I sat in the back of the sleigh. My arms feeling weak holding this gun up for so long. I kept an eye on the door for enemies. We do this mission year round and it’s always so dangerous. out of the thousand of elves that are sent to protect Santa’s sleigh when we’re delivering presents, only a few hundred come back. I always dreaded being part of mission Eve the main goal of the mission: protect Santa so he can deliver his present around the world. I wouldn’t mind being part of mission Eve if it wasn’t the most deadliest mission known to elf kind, but there was draft and I was selected. The first part is the roughest. We do lift off in two of our C-5M Super Galaxy planes (which has 16 man operated turrets built into the plane to shoot enemy aircrafts) filled with helicopters, armored vehicles, elf soldiers, guns, ammunition (snowballs), explosives, and the prized possession: Santa’s sleigh, filled with presents. We take off protected by about fifty fighter jets and fifty more AH-64 Apache helicopters. you humans reading this must be thinking, how are the vehicles able to fly in such freezing weather, why haven’t I heard planes fly by and explosions on Christmas eve. Well you see we elves are known for our craftsmanship, which most people think is just toys, but that’s not all we build, we’ve made weapons, vehicles, and a material similar to metal which can withstand low temperatures so it won’t get torn apart so easy in the cold, we’ve modified how vehicles work so they can withstand cold temperatures but can also withstand hot temperatures, and since we’re the best engineers in the world we upgrade vehicles that you humans have made. We take the blueprints for a plane or helicopter that you’ve made, then we find out how we can make it better, but we keep these upgraded versions for ourselves because we don’t want our enemies using our weapons, like your C-5M Super Galaxy planes, we figured out how to make it bigger, and how to give it turrets. Second, you know that “around Christmas time magic fills the air” saying, well lets’ just say it’s not just a saying, it’s true. around Christmas time magic fills the air and stops time until Santa has delivered all the presents, we don’t know how it works but it does. unfortunately some people want to try to use the magic for themselves, they think if they can capture Santa they can use the magic because the magic is for some reason tied to Santa. A couple hours after takeoff the planes get attacked by these things, every year the threat changes, it’s either human sized gingerbread men, snowmen, etc. and just to be clear the enemies have weapons similar to ours. They have snowball guns, explosives, jets, armored vehicles, etc. they’ve always been a nuisance and try to attack our base even when it’s not Christmas, but since Santa never leaves our territory they’re not really a problem, but on Christmas, Santa has to leave our borders to deliver the toys making him an easy target, so we elves who’re a part of Mission Eve do everything in our power to protect Santa Claus and his sleigh full of toys. But this year something unexpected happened, we’ve never seen anything like it. We never thought they would because the gangs of enemies hate one another, so they would never team up right? We all thought that, but when we saw the faces of gingerbread men and snowmen in planes side by side working together. We realized how much trouble we were in for. So that’s all you really need to know about Mission Eve, but to catch you up, basically we focused all of our fire on the enemy jets, but the jets were just a distraction for a few helicopters to take out our turrets on top of our plane, have the helicopters land on top of our C-5M plane filled with snowmen and gingerbread foot soldiers, and blow them up to make 4 entrances and infiltrate our ship. There were not as well trained or equipped as us elves but were more than we could handle so they easily overran us, so I along with a few soldiers barricaded ourselves in the sleigh room with the enemies banging on the door, all of our guns pointed at the door ready to light up the enemies when they come through.
