Animals

We say animal to describe a primitive being who acts like a beast,

a being who doesn’t walk around on 2 legs,

a being who doesn’t go to school,

and a being who eats by shoving their face into their food.

we even have our own word to separate us from these “lesser beings”: People

we call sheep’s, monkey’s, and dog’s animals because they’re not like us,

but the thing is, we’re animals to.

We can talk and we can write and do things no other animal has ever done,

but that doesn’t mean were not the beasts we look down on.

we’re different from other animals but were both made of meat and bones,

we both eat, sleep, and dream.

The only things who have the right to use the word animals as an insult are robots.

if you try to use the word animals to describe something lesser than you,

then you’re the animal.
