Goodbye

This may be the last thing you read of mine,

so how do I make it special?

Do I talk about what this year has been like and how special this blog is to me?

Do I talk about water balloon fights in Summer to end on a fun memory?

Do I talk about lollipops and chocolates to leave a sweet taste in your mouth?

Maybe talk about what I’ve been up to and why I haven’t been posting that much.

Or maybe I’ll talk about all of these things.

I’ll talk about running around the backyard with your friend chasing you with the hose, a water balloon in either hand, throwing them at your friends, and dodging incoming water balloons. then spending the next hour sitting out in the sun drying off and soaking in the nice warm sun. Eating watermelon that’s so sweet and plump it explodes with juice when you bite into a slice. Then spend the rest of the day sitting around a campfire on the beach on a warm night, with a nice smore in your hand with chocolate melting out of the graham crackers onto the sand, but there’s still that nice warm tender chocolate bar in the center, with a nice golden brown marshmallow in the center. Sharing stories, trading jokes, and laughing till your sides hurt. Wishing to stay in that moment forever.

That’s how I leave on a fun memory.

That’s what this year has been like to me how.

That’s how special this blog has been to me,

and that’s why I haven’t been posting that much.

Because I don’t want to leave this moment.
