Being Happy

How would you describe being happy to someone?

If you were to describe emotions to a robot, how would you describe it?

A robot who has never felt any sort of emotion, how would you describe it to a robot?

Try thinking of a way to describe love without using the words “feel, like, fun, or dopamine”?

we know how someone feels in a book because they just straight up say “I felt happy,” or they’re a bit more discrete with describing how they feel.

they’ll say “My heart started pounding, a smile spread across my face, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment,”. We know that means that they’re happy, and they just did something nice, but a robot can’t feel, so when you try to describe feelings it just won’t make any sense to them unless they’ve felt them.

Emotions are just a chemical in our brain, but robots don’t have a brain they just have programming. And if we can’t describe how we feel sometimes, how on earth would you describe that emotion to someone or something who’s never felt it before. Just like I said earlier we can understand how other people are feeling because we’ve felt that way before. You’ll feel what you’re friend was feeling when you get into an argument with someone, so you can understand why they didn’t want to talk to you.
